description Take the Virtual Tour! - FILLMORE GLEN STATE PARK Fillmore Glen State Park is an oasis of cool, dense woods crowding into a long, narrow gorge. Its hiking trails offer spectacular views, unique geological formations, including five waterfalls, and a botanically rich glen. The park has 60 campsites and a stream-fed swimming pool. Anglers will enjoy fishing in the Owasco Lake inlet. In the winter, hiking, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling are permitted on unplowed roads.

facilitiesDescription The park has a beach, cabins, campsites with dumping stations and showers, pavilions, picnic tables, a playground, and playing fields. For those who prefer the luxuries of home, the park offers a full-service cottage located on the shore of Cayuga Lake at Long Point.

importantInformation Each year the campground makes every effort to provide safe swimming opportunities by testing the water and by keeping the swimming areas staffed with lifeguards. Please be aware that if the safety of our swimmers is compromised, due to lack of lifeguard coverage or water quality issues, swimming will be prohibited and therefore cannot be a guaranteed activity. We apologize for this inconvenience as it may occur with little advance notice. See HERE for all current swimming closures! To insure fairness for all NY customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 9-month Maximum Window can not be changed or cancelled until 18 days after the reservation was made. PETS Only 2 pets per site are permitted. Current rabies certificate required. Pets must be on a 6 foot leash at all times. On the Gorge Park trails, children need adult supervision at all times. CAMPSITES Campsites are a 2-night minimum. For those looking to reserve just 1-night, if you make your reservation within 7 days of your arrival you can book a 1-night stay online or through the Call Center. CABINS Cabins can accommodate 4 people and include bunk beds, gas stove and refrigerator. Smoking is NOT permitted in cabins. Cabins are 7 or 14 day stays during Peak season and run SATURDAY TO SATURDAY ONLY. Peak season runs from the end of June to the end of August. Cabins have a 2-day minimum stay outside of peak season. During peak season, a camping party and their equipment may occupy a site for a maximum of 14 continuous days. After which, the camping party and equipment must leave the site and facility for 2 days before registering again for another site. IMPORTANT: New York State Parks encourages everyone to be safe outdoors.
